iBike Dash turns iPhone or iPod touch into Cycling Computer

A company called iBike introduces the iBike Dash CC (Cycling Computer), a lightweight wireless bicycle computer system that turns any iPhone or iPod touch into your personal fitness trainer. The system is designed to help your quickly reach your goals by measuring your speed, power, heart rate, wind speed, time, trip, elevation, and calories to become healthier and fitter.

Using iPhone’s GPS chip and maps, the Dash also turns iPhone into a navigator for cycling. It offers 50 power-based and Heart Rate (HR) zone workouts and comes with ANT+ speed sensor with optional sensors for cadence and HR. The Dash CC is equipped with bike odometer.

A iPhone/iPod touch Bike app is available for use with the iBike Dash CC.The price is $199 for basic version and $329 for he advanced version with additional features (including cadence, HR, calorie measurement, battery and charger).

Rumors about iPad 3 has Retina Display

There is not even an iPad 2 here, but rumors about the iPad 3 already started about two weeks ago. Apple is supposed to change gears on the iPad release cycle and is going to unveil a new iPad 3 in September at the annual iPod event. Today AppleInsider reports that an analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo told them that the iPad 3 will have an Retina Display similar to the iPhone 4.

The iPad 3 would have a 2,048×1,536px resolution and the same 9.7-inch screen-size. Earlier rumors have said that the iPad 2 would already have this kind of display. Kuo also through out there that Apple is considering a device that has a screen-size between the iPhone/iPod and the iPad. Whether that device is an large iPhone or small iPad is supposedly not settled.
