
Motorola is launching in China the XT928 Android smartphone for China Telecom. Coming in this December, the XT928 is the King of Multimedia according to Motorola. Verizon Wireless introduces the Samsung Stratosphere, the first 4G LTE smartphone to have QWERTY keyboard for easy and quick text input. The Stratosphere is an Android 2.3 phone powered by Samsung’s 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor. It comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and five-row QWERTY keyboard.
Verizon’s new offering supports its 4G LTE network for download speeds of 5 to 12Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G LTE mobile broadband coverage areas. The Stratosphere has a 5 Megapixel main camera with auto fcus, flash, 480p DVD quality video recording, a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. It supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and provides mobile hotspot capability for sharing 4G connection with up to eight WiFi devices. The 4G phone also supports AllShare DLNA for wireless media streaming.

HTC announced the new TITAN (aka Eternity) smartphone running Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, codenamed Mango. The phone is boosted by a 1.5GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 4.7-inch large 480×800 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with F2.2 lens, dual LED flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.
